Malachy has years of instruction under his belt and provides a positive environment based on a very technical skillset. I’ve been to a number of Brazilian jiujitsu academies, but this ranks as one of the best. Coach Malachy is thorough in his instruction and I’ve seen my jiujitsu progress leaps and bounds. The Muay Thai coaches are also super personable and take time to get to know you as well. If you are in the area, it is a MUST.

Awesome place, plenty of room to train, plenty of parking. I came in only looking to train in muay thai but I gave bjj a chance and after a few weeks I feel like I'm getting somewhere in my training. Malachy is a great coach willing to take the time to train you one on one.

I primarily train at their Hollywood location but have had the pleasure of visiting their newest location not too long ago and it is just gorgeous. The vibes are immaculate - this is an ego free academy and the people are friendly and respectful. On top of all that, not only is there PLENTY of parking but you get world class training. Head BJJ coach Malachy Silva is a prime example of that. He leads by example and cares about every single one of his students and always takes the time to answer any and all questions you have regarding technique until he sees you get it. Renzo Grazie East LA is a must try if you live in the Commerce area and have always wanted to give martial arts a try!

Purple belt here… this place is excellent for coaching and just a great place to learn. I’ve been training for four years and have been to many gyms .. you can tell that there’s passion in the teaching here.
